Mr. Shahid Hamid, Senior Advocate Supreme Court, (M.A. Cantab) first founded his legal practice in 1977 with its office at the prestigious Alfalah Building on the historic Mall Road (now Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam), Lahore where it is situated since 1990 to date. The practice is widely known for its expertise in constitutional matters, banking & finance, civil, criminal, energy, petroleum, intellectual property, property, real estate, tax and other matters. Mr. Hamid’s extensive litigation experience has seen major victories in the highest judicial forums. His contribution to jurisprudence especially in constitutional matters is widely acknowledged, reported and cited.

Mr. Hamid has remained Governor of Punjab and a Federal Minister. He has held several positions as head of think-tanks, educational and other organisations - his current posts include Member of PILDAT’s Civil-Military Dialogue Group, Citizens Group on Electoral Reforms and Democracy Assessment Group and Chairman of the Board of Governors of Rashid Latif Medical College, Lahore. He lectures frequently at Pakistan's Civil Services Academy and National Defence University.

Mr. Hamid also heads several charitable organizations including as President-Designate of SOS Global Children's Villages Pakistan and Chairman Board of Trustees, Hamza Foundation Academy for Hearing Impaired Children, Lahore. He continues to advise on corporate-commercial matters as well as litigation in a wide variety of industries/sectors.
