Mr. Ali Javed Darugar holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from University of California, Berkeley and BA-LLB degree from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
He regularly advises foreign clients on local law issues pertaining to regulatory and transactional matters. He is also represents  clients before the High Court(s) of Pakistan in matters pertaining to taxation, banking law, administrative law, competition law, technology law and company law (including mergers and acquisitions, and shareholders’ disputes).
His clients include Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, Heineken, Pinsent Masons, Al-Tamimi, Peritia, the Competition Commission of Pakistan, MCB Bank Limited, Sports Star (owner of Public TV), Zafyre PTE Ltd., Pronto Promo, Alphaville FZCO, We Over I, Aimfit and Intellia Advisors.
Ali is an adjunct faculty member at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
